In Seville, the shopping area is within the geographical centre of the old walled city. Large department stores together with traditional specialised shops recapture the pleasure of window-shopping.
The area around El Salvador, Encarnación, Campana, Plaza Nueva and Magdalena offer the possibility of a nice shopping stroll; you will feel the pleasure of discovering your own favourite specialised shops as you enjoy the busy commercial atmosphere. Opening times are generally 10:00 to 13:30 and 17:00 to 20:30 Monday through Friday, and 10:00 to 13:30 on Saturdays. If you are in a hurry, big department stores offer almost any-thing and stay open at lunchtime.
There are many commercial streets waiting to be discovered, but you needn’t walk very much to find all sorts of goods, and Sierpes Street is a convenient landmark.
